Pennsylvania teen meets President Carter for some fly fishing

An interesting story about a fly fishing kid from Lancaster Online:

A shared love of fly fishing recently brought together 13-year-old Grayson Hirst of West Lampeter Township and former President Jimmy Carter on Pennsylvania’s fabled Spruce Creek.

Over a Memorial Day outing on the wild trout stream near State College, Carter regaled Hirst with tales of his favorite fly-fishing trips to such far-flung destinations as Russia, Honduras and Montana.

The mesmerized boy fisher heard about Carter’s favorite fish of all time, a 42-inch sea-run brown trout the president hooked into on Argentina’s Rio Grande River.
