Colorado kids learn to fly fish thanks to Trout Unlimited


Recently a group of lucky kids got out on the waters of Colorado thanks to Trout Unlimited, Gore Range Chapter:

Six students, ages 10 to 14, from Snowsports Outreach Society were fitted with waders and boots at Breckenridge Outfitters several weeks ago before heading to the Upper Blue River to learn to fly fish with Trout Unlimited (TU) Gore Range Chapter president Sarah Barclay.

They were paired with TU volunteer guides, who taught them about safety, casting and skills such as knot- and fly-tying.
